The 21 selections in this CD span several centuries of musical styles and represent 13 great composers, evidencing Ludmilla's widespread musical interests and capabilities. Composers include: Bach, Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Liszt, Mozart, Putscher, Scarlatti, Schumann and Scriabin as well as Ignaz Friedman and Serge Prokofiev whose compositions deserve special recognition on this recording since Ludmilla originally played them at the request of these two masters when they visited the Krakow and Warsaw Consevatories, in 1925 and 1927, respectively, when she was only in her 14th and 16th years of age!
